Hi my friends around the world!! Thanks for visiting my website and enjoying my music !

Since the 10th of January i am living  on Ibiza. It's an island in the Baleares, Mediteranean sea. I rented a house in the mountains with a garden, good neighbours and lots of space and the sea. I already love it here and i dont wanna go away ;) I posted some new pictures in the Gallery:))) Please check them out! I started to work on recording and producing ricoloop!  its a lot of fun cause  there is so much to do!!!  Sometimes i just need to learn the balance between work and holiday.. ;) But it's good to be motivated and that the suroundings support you in a healthy way!Manu (my manager) keeps it all up in Berlin and without him i couldnt relax as much as i am.We are planning a colorful summer and from day to day it paints its adventures!Soon i will be posting a new podcast!   also put up more audio and video :)anyway... right now... my computer never sleeps :( Thanks to all for supporting me and making all this possible!

"ricoloop" is a "one-man-jam", exploring the entities of music in communication with himself as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter! A technical tool gives him the possibility to record as much layers or loops as he wants on top of each other, while using many different instruments (incl. his voice) to experiment with many different "worlmusicstyles". All the happens almost in realtime. so that one gets the feeling that he´s jamming with himself.  it`s live producing!

Rico ist Songwriter und Multiinstrumentalist der durch gefuehlvolles Zusammenbauen von organischen Loops die Wesenheiten der Musik erforscht. Er tritt in Kommunikation mit sich Selbst durch das Fuettern seiner Loopmaschine und zaubert so rhytmisch und melodisch, komplexe Experimente. Durchwachsen mit Satzgesaengen und Weltmusikalischen Einfluessen bis hin zu tanzbarer Elektronik Persiflage, bedient er vielerlei instrumente und benutzt hauptsaechlich seine Stimme. Offen fuer alle Stile improvisiert er mit kindlicher Offenheit und gibt sich den jeweiligen Wesenheiten hin.  "das herz hoert immer ...und wenn es groovt dann muss sich was bewegen!"
